PreACT
Every year we will have the students take the PreACT.

THIS IS NOT FOR ALL GRADES!!!!!! We offer this to our current sophomore class for free! We will set aside a time for your students to take it during the school day. It is a shorter version of the real ACT, but does not give them an actual national score.

This pre test does not affect their actual ACT score their junior year and does not count as a score to send to institutions. This just gives us an idea of how students are performing and what they may need to study extra for the following year!
PreACT 8/9
Wheeler does offer students in grades 8 & 9 to take the Pre ACT. However, this does cost your student to take it. We ask that you make a $15 check out to Wheeler Central Public Schools for your student to use this opportunity. We also send home a letter to be signed by parents or guardians to approve this process. Again, this will be taken during the school day and is a great opportunity to gauge where your student lands for the real thing for their junior year!
ACT
For our juniors, they will take the national ACT in the Spring semester with their whole class during the school day. The day is subject to change year to year based on national guidelines. For the day of the exam, students will come in the morning, eat breakfast (provided by cafeteria staff) then head to the Bartlett Church of Faith. After every junior has finished their exam, they are free to go home as long as they are in good academic standing and it has been approved by administration!
